FITWORKS PURCHASE PROGRAM: The Fine Print

 

SHIPPING by TRUCK:

  • Option 1 Pickup at FITWORKS Locations: For many of our products, the best option is shipping by common carrier. The Purchase Program price will include all costs of shipping the product to the FITWORKS location nearest to you. If you choose to pick up your order, simply make an appointment and we will load you up and offer any advice you wish on unpacking, assembly and set-up.
  • Option 2 Pickup at Shipping Terminal: If it is more convenient for you, you may choose to pick up your shipment at a Day and Ross terminal nearest to you. You would incur the cost of shipping the product from FITWORKS’ warehouse in Saint John. We will provide an exact cost at the time you place your order, but the cost of shipping a large treadmill from Saint John to Bathurst would be about $35 plus tax.
  • Option 3 Home Delivery: If you would prefer that the equipment arrive at your home, you can specify “curbside delivery”. This service is provided by the freight company. They will make a delivery appointment for an approximate time, and deliver the equipment to your home. Please note that the common carrier’s responsibility ends with unloading your shipment at your driveway (hence curbside). Most drivers are very accommodating, but if your multi-gym boxes need to go up three flights of stairs you might want to get re-acquainted with your neighbour(s). The cost of home delivery is currently an additional $35.
  • Option 4 Delivery, Installation and Cleanup: This is by far our most popular option. FITWORKS personnel will arrange an exact delivery time, place your equipment exactly where you wish it to be, assemble and ensure everything is working exactly as it should. We will also provide you with orientation on the use of the equipment, and take away the packing material. The cost of this service depends on the product, and would be confirmed with you when place your order. This service is available in the metro Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John areas.

 

SERVICE:

The warranty on any product is determined by the policies of the manufacturer. In many cases FITWORKS would provide warranty service on behalf of the manufacturer. In other cases, the manufacturer will designate a Service Provider based on the closest Certified Technician. In other cases, the manufacturer will provide service within a specific area, but the customer must pay travel expenses outside of that area.

RETURN POLICY:

Accessories purchased at FITWORKS may be returned or exchanged (excluding shipping) in their original un-used state and packaging within 30 days from the original time of purchase. A 20% Re-stocking fee applies to all returns with the exception of defective product.

For the purpose of hygienic reasons, exercise mats, stability balls, gloves, resistance tubing, resistance bands, heart rate monitors and other product deemed hygienically sensitive (by store manager) may not be returned or exchanged any time after purchase with the exception of defective product.

Equipment may be returned or exchanged 30 days after time of purchase for the full amount in its original packaging and its original boxed state. Any product found to be Defective on Arrival will be replaced only if the defective component has been unsuccessfully replaced or repaired after 3 attempts. Any service issues arising after time of delivery or assembly will be dealt with as dictated by the original Manufacturers’ Warranty.
